It’s always nice to have foods and candies on buffet tables labeled so your guests will know what’s being served. There are literally hundreds of ways to accomplish this — some more unique than others, but all get the job done.
Signs can be placed directly on the containers or they can be placed in holders next to each different type of candy. Chalkboard style signs, stickers, restaurant style menu name plates and more are available to help you get everything labeled.
My favorite are Chalkboard Signs – These come in a variety of sizes and shapes. Some can be clipped to the container while others can be leaned against the container or placed on a holder — the choice is up to you.
These chalkboard style signs have clips on the back making it easy to attach to the containers themselves — no mix-ups here! They are perfect for vintage, nostalgic, modern or even rustic events. The containers you decide to use will point you in the direction of one of the above themes or feels.
They come 24 signs to a package at a very reasonable price and are 1 1/8″ wide x 1 1/4″ tall. Click the image for more information.
Another chalkboard style sign is the arrow sign. Very cute and can be displayed by pushing the stick portion down into the candy container. Write the names of the candy, little love messages, or invitations to your guests to “dig in”!
The arrow portion is 5″ wide by 2″ tall leaving plenty of room to write your candy name. The stick portion added to the arrow makes the overall size at 14″. They come 6 to a set. Click the image for more information.
Remember, labels for the food and candy we are serving help our guests avoid items they might be allergic to as well as making it easier to decide what they want. When candies are unwrapped or just say a red color guests don’t know if they are cherry, strawberry, watermelon or raspberry flavored. Labels avoid these pitfalls.
